Terms of Service

By engaging Pacific Repair Services, LLC for appliance repair on Oahu, you agree to the following terms and conditions governing our services.

Please read these Terms carefully. By scheduling or receiving appliance repair services from Pacific Repair Services, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Pacific Repair Services, LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company with its principal place of business at 540 Lagoon Drive, Honolulu, HI 96819 ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By contacting us, scheduling a service appointment, or permitting our technicians to perform work on your appliances, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not engage our services.

2. Services Provided

Pacific Repair Services, LLC provides professional appliance repair and maintenance services for residential and commercial customers across Oahu, Hawaii, including but not limited to:

  • Refrigerator and freezer repair (including sealed system / refrigerant repair)
  • Washing machine and dryer repair (gas and electric)
  • Dishwasher repair
  • Oven, range, and stove repair (gas and electric)
  • Commercial appliance repair
  • Manufacturer warranty repairs (where authorized)
  • Preventive maintenance programs
  • Property management appliance services

Services are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Hawaii Standard Time). Emergency or after-hours services are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion, including situations where conditions at the service location are deemed unsafe for our technicians.

3. Appointments & Scheduling

Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled by calling (808) 824-3643 or by submitting a service request through our website. All appointments are subject to technician availability.

Service Windows

We provide estimated arrival windows for service appointments. While we make every effort to arrive within the stated window, actual arrival times may vary due to traffic, prior job completion times, or other factors. We will communicate any significant delays.

Customer Availability

An adult (18 years of age or older) must be present at the service location during the scheduled appointment. If no authorized adult is present when our technician arrives, the appointment may be rescheduled and a service call fee may apply.

4. Payment Terms

Diagnostic Fee

A service diagnostic fee may be charged for the initial visit to assess the appliance. This fee covers the technician's time, travel, and professional diagnosis. The diagnostic fee will be communicated to you prior to or upon arrival.

Repair Estimates

Before performing any repair work beyond initial diagnosis, we will provide you with an estimate of the repair cost. Work will only proceed upon your verbal or written authorization.

Payment Methods

Pacific Repair Services, LLC accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Check (payable to Pacific Repair Services, LLC)

Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been pre-approved in writing by Pacific Repair Services, LLC.

Late Payments

Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may be subject to a late payment fee. We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances, including through third-party collection services or legal action.

Warranty & Insurance Claims

For manufacturer warranty repairs, payment procedures may differ based on the terms of the manufacturer's warranty program. We will clearly communicate any out-of-pocket costs before proceeding.

5. Repair Warranty & Service Guarantee

Labor Warranty

Pacific Repair Services, LLC warrants the labor performed on your appliance for a period of 90 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within this period due to faulty workmanship, we will return to diagnose and correct the problem at no additional labor charge.

Parts Warranty

Replacement parts installed by Pacific Repair Services, LLC are warranted for the period specified by the parts manufacturer, typically ranging from 90 days to one year. Part warranties are subject to the terms and conditions of the original parts manufacturer.

Warranty Exclusions

Our labor warranty does not cover:

  • New or unrelated failures in other components of the appliance
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents after service
  • Damage caused by power surges, flooding, or other external events
  • Appliances that have been tampered with or serviced by another party after our repair
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Pre-existing conditions not related to the original repair

Manufacturer Warranty Repairs

When performing repairs under a manufacturer's warranty, the terms of the manufacturer's warranty program govern. Pacific Repair Services, LLC makes no additional warranty beyond what the manufacturer provides for warranty-covered repairs.

6. Limitation of Liability

Important: Pacific Repair Services, LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.

Pacific Repair Services, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages including lost food, lost revenue, or lost business resulting from appliance failure or repair delays
  • Damage to appliances that is pre-existing and unrelated to our repair work
  • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions not visible or known at the time of service
  • Losses arising from appliance failure following our repair that result from issues unrelated to our work
  • Delays caused by unavailability of parts from suppliers or manufacturers

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

7. Access to Property

By scheduling a service appointment, you grant Pacific Repair Services, LLC and its authorized technicians permission to access the areas of your property reasonably necessary to perform the requested appliance repair services.

Our technicians will treat your property with care and respect. We will not access areas of your home or property that are not necessary for the repair. Technicians will use protective coverings where appropriate to prevent damage to floors and surfaces.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the appliance being serviced, including adequate lighting and sufficient space for the technician to work.

8. Parts & Materials

Pacific Repair Services, LLC uses quality replacement parts sourced from reputable suppliers. We may use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts or high-quality aftermarket equivalents, depending on availability and cost-effectiveness.

If specific OEM parts are requested by the customer and those parts are more expensive or require additional lead time, the customer will be informed and must authorize any additional cost before we proceed.

Parts ordered specifically for your appliance repair that are subsequently cancelled by the customer may result in a restocking fee or non-refundable parts charge.

9. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Customer Cancellations

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover the technician's reserved time.

No-Show Policy

If our technician arrives at the scheduled location and no authorized adult is present, the visit may be treated as a no-show and a service call fee may be charged. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before leaving.

Company Cancellations

Pacific Repair Services, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to technician illness, emergency, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify you as promptly as possible and reschedule at your earliest convenience at no charge.

10. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly at (808) 824-3643 or in writing at 540 Lagoon Drive, Honolulu, HI 96819. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve your concern promptly and fairly.

In the event a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith mediation before pursuing any formal legal action. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the State of Hawaii.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

12. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive SMS notifications (text messages) from Pacific Repair Services, LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Consent & Opt-In — By checking the SMS opt-in box on our service request form or providing your number for service updates, you explicitly authorize us to send text messages to the phone number provided. These messages are strictly for service updates, scheduling alerts, and repair coordination. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Opt-Out — You may unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive one confirmation message, and we will cease sending text messages.
  • Help & Support — For help or information, reply HELP to any message or call us at (808) 824-3643.
  • Carrier Fees & Rates — Message and data rates may apply. Pacific Repair Services, LLC is not responsible for fees charged by your mobile carrier.
  • Frequency — Message frequency varies based on active service requests and appointments.

13. Changes to These Terms

Pacific Repair Services, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
